Underwear brand Tommy John will open its second brick-and-mortar store later this summer, at Simon's SouthPark mall, in Charlotte, N.C. The company opened its first store in October, at King of Prussia (Pa.) Mall.
The 3,000-square-foot store will occupy a space previously occupied by Lululemon, which moved into a former Frontgate store last year.
Tommy John is the latest e-tailer to branch out into physical stores in the Charlotte area, according to The Charlotte Observer. Johnny Fly Co., previously an online-only retailer of sunglasses and leather bags, opened its first store last summer, in NoDa, for instance. Online eyewear retailer Warby Parker opened a store in 2017, at Atherton Mill and Market; and Fabletics, actress Kate Hudson’s activewear line, opened a store at SouthPark in 2016.
