In the pipeline: Who’s building what, where

Pleasanton, Calif.
Simon filed to build nearly 500 apartments and associated amenities on a portion of its Stoneridge Shopping Center. Pleasanton Weekly

Monroe, Conn.
A developer wants to build a retail development downtown called the Shops at Victoria Place. Its six buildings will total about 115,000 square feet. The project would be located adjacent to another mixed-use development that is to comprise roughly 50 apartments and 20,000 square feet of retail. The Monroe Sun

Cape Coral, Fla.
Lonestar Development Partners will raze a Circle K gas station to build a five-unit shopping center with a drive-through restaurant. The project is to open next year. News-Press

Baltimore
Giant Food will open a 66,000-square-foot store at Mill Station, a center that Kimco Realty built on the site of the former Owings Mills Mall. Costco, Lowe’s and Marshalls are tenants there too. The Baltimore Sun 

Roseville, Mich.
Hobby Lobby and At Home will move into the former Sears anchor at Lormax Stern’s Macomb Mall. Forever 21 and Five Below opened there this summer. Macomb Daily

Sarasota, Fla.
Benderson Development Co. and Gator Investments demolished portions of Town & Country Plaza to accommodate new tenants, including a Publix. Tire Kingdom will join the center too. Herald-Tribune

Reno, Nev.
Round 1 Entertainment is to take the ground floor of the former Sears anchor store at Meadows Mall. Eater Las Vegas

Leesburg, Va.
Keane Enterprises filed plans to rezone the 18.5-acre Virginia Village shopping center, which it acquired two years ago. The application calls for a mixed-use development comprising some 70,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, 105,000 square feet of offices, 490 multifamily units, 68 condominiums, 47 town houses and 42 two-over-two dwellings.
