Dry Goods to open 12 stores in 2018

February 28, 2018

Fashion apparel retailer Dry Goods is set to open 12 stores in 2018.

This spring the chain will open units at The Shoppes at Grand Prairie, in Peoria, Ill.; Polaris Fashion Place and Tuttle Crossing, both in Columbus, Ohio; and West Acres, Fargo, N.D. This summer the company will open stores at Westroads Mall, Omaha, Neb.; Crossroads Mall, Kalamazoo, Mich.; NorthPark Mall, Davenport, Iowa; The Greene Town Center, Dayton, Ohio; and St. Louis Galleria and West County Center, both in St. Louis. Then, in the fall, Dry Goods will open stores at Columbia (Mo.) Mall and at Summit Mall, in Akron, Ohio.

Dry Goods targets young consumers with trend-setting apparel, accessories and other items, visually inviting interiors and a high level of customer service. "Our merchandise assortment is perfect for young customers wanting to create a look inspired by the latest fashion trends," said James D. von Maur, president of the Von Maur department store chain, parent company of Dry Goods. "We are excited to continue driving the tremendous success Dry Goods has experienced with the opening of several new locations throughout the year, and we look forward to delivering a distinctive shopping experience to shoppers across the country."

Dry Goods USA opened its first store in 2010, in Aurora, Ill. The company currently operates 27 stores across eight states.
