Next Generation Leadership Network
ICSC Next Generation Leadership Network (NGLN) represents the rising leaders in the Marketplaces Industry. In the face of the rapid changes altering the retail and real estate landscape, these individuals exemplify the leadership, creativity and vision needed to help advance their organizations and the industry.
2020—2022 ICSC Next Generation Leadership
Growing Industry Leaders Under 40
NGLN was launched in 2020 as part of a series of initiatives aimed at advancing the recruitment, engagement and diversity of our members under 40 and consists of the top talent from across the industry recognized by ICSC Trustees and additional at-large member nominations.
NGLN members serve a two-year term, meeting regularly to discuss industry issues, network and ultimately elevate their stature both in the industry and as advocates and future leaders of ICSC. The 2020—2022 inaugural cohort included 65 members who thoroughly enjoyed and benefitted from their experience. Over the next two years, ICSC will hold summits and specialized programming for the 2022—2024 Cohort.
Planning for the Next NGLN Cohort
Starting in late 2024, ICSC will reopen a nominations process to select the next deserving cohort. For interested ICSC Members under the age of 40, we recommend getting involved with the Next Generation chairs within your Marketplace Council and serving on their committees to help build your ICSC network.
Cultivating a diverse and inclusive community within the network is a priority, and with age and term limits, our goal is to create opportunities for many ICSC Next Generation members to participate in NGLN in the coming years.
