UBreakiFix hits 500 stores and still growing

July 2, 2019

UBreakiFix, the chain of repair clinics for electronic devices, is thriving off consumers’ careless mishaps. The company rolled out 25 new stores in the second quarter, bringing its total to 522 across North America.

The company, which celebrated its 10-year anniversary in April, opened stores in Oklahoma; Texas; and Ontario, Canada, among other places, according to a company statement.

The company plans to open another 25 stores in the third quarter

“The timing of these milestones felt serendipitous, with our 500th store opening and 10th anniversary taking place within the same month,” said Justin Wetherill, co-founder and president, in a prepared statement. “We had a lot of fun celebrating with our team, and we plan to maintain this momentum by continuing to innovate and [to] align ourselves with the right partners that allow us to deliver a truly unique repair experience.”

The company says it plans to open another 25 stores in the third quarter, expanding into Hawaii and into Winnipeg, Manitoba.
