Tanger Factory Outlet Centers opened its latest property: Tanger Outlets Fort Worth, the company’s 42nd overall, and its fourth in Texas. “As one of the fastest-growing metroplexes in the United States, I know that Dallas–Fort Worth is all about putting Americans to work,” said Tanger CEO Steven B. Tanger. “With this center’s opening, we’ve created over 900 full- and part-time retail management and sales positions for Texans.” In attendance at the opening ceremony were Janie Havel, economic development field representative from the office of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott; Robin Vaughan, deputy district director with the office of Rep. Michael C. Burgess, R-Texas; and Betsy Price, mayor of Fort Worth, among others.
