Maryland, Washington Host “Day at the State Capitol” Events

February 12, 2026

Earlier this month, ICSC co-hosted a legislative reception in Olympia, Washington with Washington Business Properties Association and the Washington Retail Association that was attended by more than 20 legislators. The event followed a day of meetings at the statehouse where ICSC members met with state legislators and the offices of the Lt. Governor and Secretary of State. Policy discussions included Organized Retail Crime (ORC) and tax reform.

On February 11, ICSC members visited the state capitol in Annapolis, Maryland and met with 15 legislators to discuss retail real estate development in Maryland. ICSC also hosted a reception with the legislature and Maryland Mayors Association that evening.
