Leadership Transitions at CenterSquare and Halpern Enterprises

August 5, 2022

CenterSquare promoted Scott Crowe to the newly created role of president. He has served as chief investment strategist since 2015, leading CenterSquare’s private equity real estate and capital markets group and directing the firm’s risk management function. He also sits on CenterSquare’s numerous investment committees and holds a seat on the board. Crowe previously worked for Resource America, Cohen & Steers and UBS among others.

Retail leasing, management, acquisitions and development company Halpern Enterprises promoted Matthew Oppenheimer from director of acquisitions to president, charged with enhancing the value of the company’s existing portfolio and growing through acquisitions and development. He’s a third-generation family employee at the company. He joined in 2012 and became director of acquisitions in 2019. Before Halpern, he worked for Glenwood Development Co., Rosenberg Capital Advisors and Colliers. Oppenheimer succeeds Bill Brown, who served as president for 14 years.
