Altman Development has plans to build Miramar Park Place: a mixed-use center with 650 rental apartments and 50,000 square feet of commercial and entertainment/retail space. South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Sarasota, Fla.
EoS Fitness will open a 50,000-square-foot gym at Benderson Development’s Publix-anchored Landings, in Sarasota. The landlord bought the property out of foreclosure and is remerchandising the tenant mix. The Gainesville Sun

St. Petersburg, Fla.
BE1 Concepts says it will redevelop the Sundial shopping plaza into a 25,000-square-foot food hall that is to open in early 2020. WUSF News

Commerce, Ga.
Developers are proposing a 100-acre mixed-use project to be called Commerce Point, which would be located directly behind the existing Tanger Outlets. Atlanta Business Chronicle (tiered subscription) 

St. Charles, Ill.
DLJ Stone Creek is spending $1 million to redevelop the former Tin Cup Pass shopping center as a new center called Stone Creek. The work includes new windows, doors and other design features intended to woo new restaurant tenants. Daily Herald

Overland Park, Kan.
City officials approved Seritage Growth Properties’ plans to build a 300-unit apartment complex, stores, restaurants, a fuel station and a 350-stall parking garage around the former Sears store that once anchored the now-demolished Metcalf South Shopping Center. The Kansas City Star

Bethlehem, Pa.
Weis Markets says it will move into the former Bon-Ton anchor space at the 270,000-square-foot Westgate Mall. The Morning Call

Lower Allen Township, Pa.
Sportsman’s Warehouse will move into the former Field & Stream store at Capital City Mall. The nearby Bon-Ton and Borders stores are being redeveloped as hotel and retail space. PennLive

Chattanooga, Tenn.
CBL Properties is working with local investors to buy the long-vacant, 173,000-square-foot JCPenney anchor space at Northgate Mall from Simon, for conversion into a mixed-use space with retail, entertainment and office tenants. Times Free Press
