ICSC has launched a digital networking hub called ICSC Virtual Community. There, ICSC members and retail and real estate industry participants can engage in active online discussions and forums on timely and relevant topics.
Users can interact with the platform’s general community, and they also can join smaller groups focused on specific disciplines. The Retailers group, for example, is open to anyone employed by a retailer or providing resources and information to retailers on continuing business operations. The community has similar groups for brokers, landlords and small business owners. Users also can join ICSC Peer Groups of 15-30 ICSC members who gather around a common purpose.
“It brings together industry experts, thought leaders and ICSC members/audiences for robust interactive conversations on the business issues, trends, strategies, best practices and research most important to today’s environment,” said Leslie Fox, ICSC senior vice president of membership and strategy. “By participating in ongoing discussions and forums, ICSC Virtual Community members can make more real-time business decisions based on content and information shared in the forums.”
Landlords and property managers already are sharing best practices about reopening their centers in one general discussion, while brokers are trading tips for closing deals during a pandemic in another.
ICSC Virtual Community is live now. Join the discussion here.
