Supply-chain limitations, rising online advertising costs and an increasingly crowded digital marketplace are driving these brands to open stores, the real estate services firm reports.
These brick-and-mortar stores take the form of both own stores and pop-ups with established retailers. The region now hosts approximately 120 click-and-mortar stores and 76 e-tailer pop-ups, the majority in the West Los Angeles and Orange County submarkets.
Among the top 10 e-tailers operating in the market by number of locations: SmileDirectClub, Alex and Ani, Leesa, BaubleBar, ThredUp, Athleta, LXRandCo, Casper, Warby Parker and Sugarfina.
