Cullinan Properties appointed Matthew Beverly CEO. He succeeds Christopher West, who will transition to senior advisor and will remain a partner. Beverly joins Cullinan from RPAI, where he most recently served as president of the East Division, overseeing leasing, asset management, property management, development, marketing and tenant coordination. Previously, he worked for GGP, which he joined in 2002 and which named him vice president of investments in 2008.

Whitestone REIT has promoted Dave Holeman to CEO, following the board’s decision to terminate James Mastandrea’s employment as CEO for cause. The board also removed Mastandrea as chairman and appointed independent trustee David Taylor chairman. Mastandrea’s termination is not related to Whitestone’s operating performance, financial condition or financial reporting, according to the company. The board also promoted Scott Hogan, who previously served as vice president and controller, to CFO. Hogan joined the company in 2008.
