The impact of the pandemic has prompted small businesses to reevaluate their strategies for attracting and retaining talent. According to a November 2021 survey by Lincoln Financial Group, 93% of small business owners had reevaluated their benefit offerings since the pandemic. Among the changes, more than a quarter were offering better benefits like adding life insurance, retirement matching contributions and financial wellness programs.
