This Atlanta-based apparel chain opened its first Michigan store, in downtown Birmingham. Hometown Life

Kohler
Bath-and-kitchen manufacturer Kohler has plans to open a signature store in downtown Bethesda, Md., in April. The company operates one other store in the state, in Baltimore. Kohler operates 30 signature stores across North America. Bethesda Magazine

Nebraska Furniture Mart
This big-box home-furnishings, appliances and decor brand, which is known for its huge stores, says it will rebrand as NFM. The company operates in Dallas; Des Moines, Iowa; Kansas City, Kan.; and Omaha, Neb. The Dallas Morning News

The consumer-electronics brand has plans to open its fourth Samsung Experience store on Dec. 12, at Stanford Shopping Center, in Palo Alto, Calif., in a 5,600-square-foot former Nike space. Cnet

Basketball star LeBron James is set to open the second outpost of his clothing chain. This 10,000-square-foot store, in Miami’s trendy Wynwood district, will feature a photo studio and a courtyard for community events. The first store opened in 2011, at Miami’s Aventura Mall. Miami Herald
