CBRE exclusively will handle the entertainment and restaurant leasing for Horizon Group Properties’ Outlet Shoppes at Cleveland project. Horizon expects the two-level center to open in 2021. The company plans 320,000 square feet of shops and restaurants, nearly 90,000 square feet of that targeted for restaurants and entertainment offerings. The goal is to create an attractive destination for residents and tourists.
Joseph Khouri, a CBRE first vice president; and Vince Mingo, an associate, will handle the entertainment, while Stephen Taylor, a vice president, will lease the food-and-beverage space.
Horizon says CBRE is focusing on successful Cleveland-based restaurateurs, as well as national operators. The food offerings will include a craft-brew pub, a sit-down restaurant, some fast-casual dining, a food hall and some convenience-food venues.
“The greater Cleveland market is dynamic, with over 3.8 million people in a 60-mile radius,” said Horizon President and CEO Gary Skoien, “and downtown Cleveland is growing both in terms of residents and tourists, which are all critical elements for a successful outlet shopping center.”
