The ICSC Volunteer Leadership Summit, held earlier this month in Austin, Texas, brought together volunteer leaders from across the country for two days of engagement, collaboration and professional development.
More than 20 State Government Relations Chairs participated, representing a broad cross-section of ICSC’s volunteer leadership network.
The agenda featured sessions focused on leadership development, peer collaboration and strengthening engagement at the state and local levels. A highlight of the summit was a guided tour of the Texas State Capitol, which provided an opportunity for participants to connect and build relationships in a uniquely local setting.
The event provided a forum for volunteer leaders to exchange best practices, strengthen relationships, and align priorities for the year ahead, reinforcing the role of Government Relations Chairs in advancing ICSC’s advocacy efforts nationwide.
