ICSC is hosting its annual ICSC-CBC Retail Real Estate Reception on September 25 in Washington, DC at The Morrow Hotel. Proceeds from the event will benefit the ICSC Foundation, which supports students from universities from across U.S. and Canada, including Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs). Through scholarships, internships and professional development opportunities, the Foundation equips students to pursue successful careers in retail real estate.
The event brings together retail real estate executives, policymakers and community leaders to recognize the achievements of Black industry trailblazers and highlight the partnerships that are essential to creating more inclusive marketplaces.
“This reception is about celebrating leadership while also investing in the next generation of talent,” said Jazmen Johnson, president of the ICSC Foundation. “By expanding our network to include students from HBCUs and MSIs, we’re helping to shape a more inclusive and representative future for the retail real estate industry.”
Sponsorship packages are available, offering companies high-visibility recognition while directly supporting programs that expand access and create career pathways for emerging leaders.
