During the annual OAC Summit in Nashville, ICSC PAC Vice Chair Anthony Buono told a packed room that ICSC must continue to protect tax policies that allow our industry to thrive and that a robust PAC ensures that ICSC will always be able to advocate for its members.
ICSC PAC offers ICSC members the opportunity to make a difference in the political process so that the people elected to Congress grasp the economic issues that impact the retail real estate industry.
“I am working hard to help my fellow ICSC members realize that joining ICSC PAC is a ‘no-brainer,’ and as simple as pulling $20 out of your wallet,” newly appointed ICSC PAC Board member James Matanky said. “ICSC members need to show our collective support for ICSC PAC to help make an impact on Capitol Hill.”
To make at easy as possible to support ICSC PAC, Buono announced that ICSC members can now utilize their phones and send a “text to donate” to make their annual contribution. Thanks to the efforts ICSC PAC Board members at OAC, ICSC PAC is on track to triple the ICSC member participation rate of ICSC PAC in 2020.
ICSC PAC concluded its efforts at OAC with a Late Night Reception to thank those ICSC members who gave on-site and encouraged other ICSC members to attend to learn more about ICSC PAC’s plans during this important election year.
