ICSC PAC hosted a roundtable discussion with Representative Rudy Yakym (R-IN-2) on July 14 at ICSC’s Government Relations & Public Policy office in Washington, DC. Yakym, a former member of ICSC, discussed several important issues with the group, including tax, capital markets and monetary policy.
In addition to members of ICSC’s public policy team, representatives from the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA), National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (Nareit), National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and CRE Finance Council (CREFC) also attended.
The ICSC PAC is the only federally registered political action committee representing the Marketplaces Industry and utilizes its resources to foster relationships with Members of Congress.
“The continued growth of ICSC PAC is a testament to the engagement and generosity of our members,” ICSC Senior Director of Political Affairs & Grassroots Alyssa Rose said. “With $258,572 raised in 2026 and $542,502 raised this election cycle, we are well on our way toward reaching our $300,000 annual goal. That support has also allowed ICSC PAC to make a meaningful impact this cycle, disbursing $447,500 to federal candidates who understand the issues important to our industry. This momentum enables us to continue strengthening relationships with policymakers and elevating the voice of the Marketplaces Industry in Washington.”
