Earlier this month ICSC PAC hosted a reception for Representative Beth Van Duyne (R-TX-24) in Dallas, Texas, at the home of ICSC PAC Management Committee member Dean Pritchard.
Van Duyne, who serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, discussed several important issues with the group, including tax relief, job growth and small business protections.
“It was a pleasure to welcome Congresswoman Van Duyne and fellow ICSC members to our home in Dallas,” Pritchard said. “Events like this are a great reminder of how important it is for our industry to stay politically active. As a member of the ICSC PAC Management Committee, I’m proud to help bring our members together and support the important advocacy work ICSC is doing on behalf of our industry.”
ICSC PAC is the only federally registered political action committee representing the Marketplaces Industry and utilizes its resources to foster relationships with Members of Congress.
“One of the most rewarding parts of my role is seeing ICSC members get involved in the political process and recognize the value of building relationships with policymakers,” ICSC Senior Director of Political Affairs & Grassroots Alyssa Rose said. “Having the opportunity to engage directly with members of Congress and share how federal policies impact their businesses is incredibly valuable to our advocacy efforts. ICSC PAC has raised more than $280,000 so far this year, reflecting our members’ continued commitment to political engagement. We’re incredibly grateful for their support and involvement.”
