ICSC Announces Jim Taylor as ICSC Chairman and Angele Robinson-Gaylord as ICSC Vice Chairman for 2024
Brixmor President & CEO Taylor and Starbucks Senior Vice President Robinson-Gaylord to Lead ICSC’s Board of Trustees, Plus 11 Additional Trustees Named
NEW YORK, December 6, 2023: ICSC announced today that the organization’s Board of Trustees elected Jim Taylor, President & CEO of Brixmor Property Group, to serve as ICSC’s Chairman and Angele Robinson-Gaylord, Senior Vice President, Store Development Americas of Starbucks, to serve as Vice Chairman for the 2024 term.
Taylor was appointed CEO and President of Brixmor Property Group in 2016 and brings extensive experience in retail and commercial real estate stemming from a more than 25-year career in the industry. Prior to being named ICSC’s Chairman, Taylor served as the organization’s Vice Chairman for the 2023 term. Jim previously served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Federal Realty Investment Trust, and, prior to Federal, Head of Real Estate Investment Banking for Eastdil Wells Fargo.
Robinson-Gaylord is Senior Vice President, Store Development Americas for Starbucks and has been helping retailers and developers create and implement strategies to grow and protect their real estate portfolios for over 15 years. Prior to joining Starbucks, Robinson-Gaylord led Store Development teams at Rite Aid and IKEA, and formerly worked at McDonald’s Corporation in the U.S. Restaurant Development division. Robinson-Gaylord continues to support education and professional development programs for talented minority professionals in commercial real estate. She serves on the boards for the ICSC Foundation, Project REAP and Success Academy.
“Jim’s deep expertise in retail and commercial real estate and his experience serving as ICSC’s Vice Chairman will undoubtedly prove valuable as we continue to serve our members and navigate what’s ahead for the industry in 2024,” said Tom McGee, President and CEO of ICSC. “We are also pleased to welcome Angele, whose retail expertise will be crucial as we focus on delivering fundamental programs and services for this important segment of our membership.”
