Grand opening activities were held last week for Icon Outlet at The O2, developed by AEG and Crosstree Real Estate Partners.
The 210,000-square-foot center is 15 minutes from central London and is located under the tented roof of The O2, a music and entertainment venue that has been visited by more than 70 million people since opening in 2007.
Icon Outlet consists of 85 stores and 35,000 square feet of restaurants. It’s organized in a series of key themes reflecting consumer trends. Sections include Best of British, Global Fashion, Beauty and Accessories, and Sports and Lifestyle.
In addition to the outlet and the arena, The O2 includes an 11-screen Cineworld complex, a 12-lane Hollywood Bowl, and Up at The O2, an experience that allows visitors to walk across the roof of the O2.
