ICSC, NAIOP Colorado and the Building Owners & Managers’ Association (BOMA) held their annual legislative reception at the University Club at the state capitol on March 1.
Members networked with legislators and discussed issues impacting the Marketplaces Industry.
The Colorado legislature convened on January 19.
Colorado Senate Minority Leader Paul Lundeen (R-El Paso County), Jenn Penn (BOMA), Stephen Shephard (BOMA), Senator Kyle Mullica (D-Adams County), Kathie Barstnar (NAIOP), Erin Goff (Husch Blackwell Strategies), Chris Alcorn (NAIOP) and Jim Hill (ICSC) at the University Club.
The Florida Day at the state capitol was held on February 21-22 and jointly attended by members of ICSC and NAIOP. Issues discussed with lawmakers included organized retail crime, further reduction of business rent tax on commercial leases and regulation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
The Florida legislature is in regular session from March 7 until May 5.
