With a mission to help each her peers grow and a $1 million investment, entrepreneur Angel Gregorio has turned a 7,500-square-foot lot in Washington, D.C., into a mini strip mall for local Black-owned businesses. With D.C.’s rent prices continuing to rise, Gregorio wanted to create a model for affordable commercial space.
