Important ICSC Update

Dear ICSC Member,

The health and safety of our members and team is ICSC's top priority. Our thoughts continue to be with all of those who have been impacted, directly or indirectly, by COVID‑19, as well as the events that have unfolded across the country over the past week.

Currently, state and local governments are implementing, in a phased manner, reopening measures. As we consider the impact of those measures and weigh the prospect of scheduling future live events, we are guided by the status of those actions as well as direction from relevant health and government officials, including the limitation in most jurisdictions on large conventions and gatherings. After much deliberation and consultation with our Chair, Vice Chair and Executive Board, and guided by our commitment to safety, we are extending to at least September 30, 2020, our moratorium on live events. Event registrants and exhibitors affected by this extension will receive an individual notice within the next few days on possible scenarios for those events, as well as refund and rollover options.

We will communicate with you frequently and will provide up‑to‑date information about our event schedule at ICSC.com.

I also wanted to share with you that ICSC has made the difficult decision to reduce the size of our team. The decision was necessitated by the impact of COVID‑19 on our operations. I know you join me in thanking all impacted ICSC employees for their dedication to our industry and members and wish them personal and professional success.

As the long‑term impact of the pandemic becomes clearer and the needs of our members adjust, ICSC is committed to evolving with the industry. In the short‑term, although our team will be smaller and efforts more targeted, we remain focused and positioned to provide exceptional service to the industry and our members.
