Talent pool: Executive moves

September 30, 2016

• DLC Management Corp. promoted several members of its leasing department. The firm promoted Chris Ressa to senior vice president of leasing. Ressa, who joined the firm in 2007, will oversee leasing operations nationwide for all DLC owned and third-party managed assets. Tarrytown, N.Y.–based DLC also promoted Adam Greenberg and Heather Moon to the roles of vice president of leasing. Greenberg will lead the Mid-Atlantic region and Moon will oversee the Southeast region for the company.

• Marcus & Millichap hired Jay Lybik to serve as vice president, research services. Lybik joins Marcus & Millichap with over 20 years of real estate research experience and most recently served as vice president of market research at Equity Residential. He will be based in the firm’s Phoenix office and will report to first vice president, John Chang, who heads Marcus & Millichap’s research services unit. During Lybik’s tenure with Equity Residential, he utilized research to help the company’s leadership team capitalize on emerging trends and make the firm one of the largest publicly traded REITs.

• Vestar has hired Paul Asher to serve as its vice president of property management. He will be responsible for leading the company’s Arizona property management operations. Prior to joining Vestar, Asher worked at Hannay Realty Advisors as director of property management, where he was responsible for the operations and management of more than 8 million square feet of commercial real estate assets in Arizona, Nevada and California.
