Retail property deals & transactions

A survey of retail property deals from the past week:

• Urban Edge Properties sold the 372,000-square-foot MacArthur Commons, in Allentown, Pa., to Abrams Realty & Development for $55.3 million. Burlington Coat Factory, Dick's Sporting Goods and a Giant supermarket are anchors. 

• First National Realty bought the 277,000-square-foot Penn Hills Center, in Pittsburgh, from First City Co. for $18 million. The tenants include Aldi, Big Lots, Dollar Tree and the U.S. Postal Service.

• Light Delaware sold the 98,000-square-foot Cartersville (Ga.) Crossing Shopping Center to Attic Storage for $12.5 million. The center’s tenant list includes Bealls Outlet, Dollar Tree, Firehouse Subs and Party City. H&H Realty brokered the transaction.

• DP Santa Clarita sold a 45,400-square-foot retail center in Santa Clarita, Calif., to a private investor for $9.8 million. Colliers International represented the seller. The tenants include 99 Cents Only and Harbor Freight Tools.

• Silvershore Properties sold a 6,600-square-foot mixed-use building with ground-floor retail at 27 E. 20th St., in New York City’s Flatiron District, for nearly $7.3 million to a buyer with plans for a restaurant on the ground floor. Eastern Consolidated represented the buyer and the seller.
