Despite a slight rebound in May, small business confidence remains low, with the outlook for future conditions far from optimistic. The latest NFIB Small Business Optimism Index reveals continued concerns over inflation, labor quality and overall business conditions. However, amid the challenges are signs of resilience as small businesses continue to hire and plan for capital investments, offering hope for navigating the uncertainty.
