Inflation Pressures Ease for Small Businesses, but Concern About High Prices Remains

According to NFIB’s most recent Small Business Optimism Index, there’s a reason for small business owners to feel optimistic: Inflation prices are easing. Though prices on goods remain high, NFIB chief economist Bill Dunkelberg said resiliency has helped small business owners through the hump. “The small business economy is recovering [even] as owners manage an ongoing labor shortage, supply chain disruptions and historic inflation,” he said.
