Monroe, Ga.
Publix will anchor MAB American Management’s 350,000-square-foot, $80 million Monroe Pavilion. Marshalls, Ross Dress for Less and Ulta Beauty will also occupy space there. The grand opening is scheduled for 2021. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Jim Wilson & Associates broke ground on the Shoppes at Ola Crossroads. A 48,000-square-foot Publix supermarket will anchor the center, which will also include about 22,000 square feet of small shops and three outparcels. Moving Henry Forward

Frontier Development will raze an empty, 3,300-square-foot former Pizza Hut building in the parking lot of the Big Lots–anchored Rockwood Square Shopping Center and replace it with a one-story, 2,500-square-foot Starbucks that is to include a drive-through, an outdoor patio and about 70 parking spaces. Worcester, Mass.
Finard Properties has plans to demolish the 33-year-old Greendale Mall and redevelop that 22-acre site as a mixed-use center with retail, medical and residential space. Worcester Business Journal

Annapolis, Md.
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield will replace the former Lord & Taylor anchor store at Westfield Annapolis with an open-air lifestyle district. The renovation will also create a double-height architectural exterior entrance. Completion is scheduled for 2021. Patch

Developers plan to add housing, hotels, offices and an additional 220,000 square feet of retail space onto Rosedale Center. KSTP

Reno, Nev.
Developers plan to convert the former Harrah’s Reno casino into Reno City Center, a nongambling property with apartments, offices and retail space. KRON

Nampa, Idaho
Rhino Investments, which is redeveloping Karcher Mall, will call the new project Karcher Marketplace. Rhino will add an apartment complex, complete with pool and clubhouse, onto the retail. BoiseDev
