Simon will begin interior and exterior renovations at The Burlington Mall that include elevated and modern furnishings, a new dining pavilion and a new play area. Other enhancements coming to the mall will include improvements to public restrooms, the addition of family restrooms, a media lounge for shoppers to relax in between shopping and a ride-sharing lounge.The renovations are expected to completed in the summer of 2021. Konover South plans to kick off construction of Freeman Crossing, a 32,000-square-foot retail center near Charlotte Premium Outlets.
