Chandler, Ariz.
VanTrust Real Estate LLC wants to build a mixed-use project called Chandler 101 on a 20-acre former industrial site near Chandler Fashion Center. The proposed development would include 820,000 square feet of offices, 24,400 square feet of retail space and 200 apartment units. East Valley Tribune

Long Beach, Calif.
CenterCal Properties introduced 15 new tenants, including two fitness-studio concepts, at its 11-acre 2nd & PCH development, which opens this fall. Shake Shack, Urban Outfitters and Whole Foods are among the other tenants. Press-Telegram

Christiana, Del.
Developers are planning a new retail development with two retail pads — one for a quick-service restaurant and one for a sit-down restaurant — and an adjacent Wawa convenience store and fueling station. Delaware News Journal

Macon, Ga.
Local authorities approved Ultimate Realty’s plans to redevelop the 411,200-square-foot Westgate Mall and add some new uses, including light-industrial, office and warehouse space. Macon Telegraph

Bemidji, Minn.
The Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians opened Red Lake Trading Post, a $10.6 million retail center financed by the Native American Bank, a Denver-based community-development financial institution that roughly 30 Indian tribes own jointly. StarTribune

Roxbury Township, N.J.
Advance Realty Investors will redevelop the enclosed Ledgewood Mall into a 470,000-square-foot, open-air, Walmart Supercenter–anchored project called The Shops at Ledgewood Commons. Commercial Property Executive

Pittsburgh
Echo Realty plans to raze the Giant Eagle–anchored Shady Hill Center and build 222 apartments, a parking garage and a 75,000-square-foot retail component that would still include a Giant Eagle, though smaller than the current grocery store. Construction would start in the spring of 2020 for completion in the spring of 2022. Patch

El Paso, Texas
Developer River Oaks Properties plans to add more than 500,000 square feet of retail space including a new 252,000-square-foot power center called Eastlake Marketplace that will open in late 2020. El Paso Herald-Post

Bainbridge Island, Wash.
Visconsi Cos. wants to add two apartment buildings with about 92 units to its Wintergreen Shopping Center development, which is anchored by Walgreens and Bainbridge Island Medical Center. Bainbridge Island Review
