The Nahata Dziil Shopping Center, anchored by a Bashas’, a Pizza Edge and a laundromat, opened on the Navajo Nation. Future plans for the center include adding a gas station and a convenience store. The Navajo Post

Milpitas, Calif.
Legoland says it will open a 31,000-square-foot new Discovery Center attraction in the former Sears anchor store at the 1 million-square-foot Great Mall by 2020. Patch

Vernon Hills, Ill.
Developer Centennial plans to redevelop the enclosed Hawthorn Mall as an open-air mixed-use center. REJournals

Lenox, Mass.
WS Asset Management and MEC Lenox Associates plan to spend about $4 million to redevelop a former Price Chopper anchor store at the Center at Lenox into a multitenant complex with room for seven new stores. The developers are also prepared to add 50,000 square feet of new buildings onto the site, pending tenant interest. The Berkshire Eagle

Yorktown, N.Y.
Lowe’s Home Improvement opened a 124,000-square-foot store at a new shopping center by Breslin Realty Development Corp. Rockland/Westchester Journal News

Milwaukee
Simon wants to demolish Southridge Mall’s shuttered Boston Store anchor to make way for an indoor athletics complex. The developer has already replaced a former Sears department store with a Dick’s Sporting Goods and a Round 1 arcade, plus a T.J.Maxx that is to open later this year. Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel

Casper, Wyo.
Developers Flower & Stone and The Kroenke Group are redeveloping the 140,000-square-foot Blackmore Marketplace to accommodate a Michaels anchor. The company is also converting former Gap and Shoe Carnival stores into a single box. Oil City News
