Why is it important to support ICSC PAC?
ICSC PAC is the only one of its kind representing the Marketplaces Industry, which has diverse needs because of the many different roles our members play in creating the spaces where people shop, work and gather. Issues like organized retail crime, preserving 1031 exchanges and the tax treatment of carried interest are critical to the success of our industry.
Has being an ICSC PAC supporter helped you feel more involved in the political process?
ICSC PAC has given me more opportunities to interact with Members of Congress. It allows ICSC members to share real-life stories that illustrate the issues facing our industry and lets legislators know we are here as a resource for information.
If you were talking to someone else about giving to ICSC PAC, what would you tell them?
Regardless of the current political climate, ICSC must have a voice on Capitol Hill. Supporting ICSC PAC is the easiest and most effective way to amplify that voice with lawmakers.
How can members get involved in ICSC PAC?
ICSC PAC hosts a variety of events each year. Our next event will be the ICSC NEW YORK PAC Reception on December 5. This festive event honors ICSC PAC’s max-out donors and celebrates our most dedicated supporters.
