Waikiki Brewing Company is to open a nearly 4,000-square-foot, oceanfront brewpub at the Outlets of Maui, in Lahaina, Hawaii.
The restaurant, set to open this spring, will offer “island-authentic” brunch, lunch and dinner menus, along with craft beers, including some brewed on-site. It will feature outdoor seating and special programming such as meet-the-brewer events and tours.
“We are rebalancing the scales of our merchandise offering to better reflect our consumers’ wants and needs,” said Cordell Lietz, president of CoastWood Capital Group, the center’s owner. Waikiki Brewing Company joins a growing collection of restaurants and entertainment venues at the 150,000-square-foot Outlets of Maui, including Pi Artisan Pizzeria, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Warren & Annabelle’s Magic, a dinner show.
“We believe this strategy has a halo effect,” Lietz said, “strengthening our position as the island’s preferred destination for great shopping and savings coupled with first-class leisure and entertainment.”
