ICSC has a limited number of spots available for student members who want to attend the Nexus Conference.
This event, ICSC’s high-level forum for discussion and debate about trends in the retail real estate industry, will take place at the PGA National Resort & Spa, in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., on Jan. 23–24.
“Students should attend, because Nexus will provide them unprecedented access to C-suite-level real estate industry leaders and exceptional market insights at a fraction of the cost that professionals have to pay,” said John Crossman, CRX, chief executive of Orlando, Fla.–based Crossman & Co. and a member of the committee that plans the programs.
At last year’s event, the committee introduced a networking session and panel discussion geared to students. Most of the attendees were graduate students, though a handful of undergraduates attended too, Crossman says.
“Students should attend if they are seeking a career in commercial real estate,” Crossman said. “Done right, this will be one of the most significant steps in their careers. They will have the opportunity to meet potential employers, clients and mentors. They will get the opportunity to learn about the most-exciting and cutting-edge areas of our industry.”
