The Halo Effect Research Series

The halo effect is the tendency for an impression created in one area to influence another. In retail, the halo effect is measured through the impact of physical stores on consumers and brand awareness — in ways that can boost or diminish web traffic and online sales. The proof exists with both established and emerging retailers, radically transforming the way brands conduct business. 

The Halo Effect II: Quantifying the Impact of Omnichannel

Data from our latest study show that the halo effect is multifaceted and vital. This new report analyzed $31 billion in consumer spending from 2016 to 2018. The results show that additional omnichannel spending that takes place within days of making a purchase in a physical store or online drives revenue for all retail channels.
