Boot Barn Holdings Inc. reported foot traffic at its 240 stores jumped a whopping 388.8 percent from the daily average on Black Friday. Traffic has grown year-over-year each month in 2019. MarketWatch
Comcast
The cable and internet giant will open its sixth Xfinity store in Chicago as Comcast grows its retail presence in the city. The 6,000-square-foot store will allow Comcast customers to get help with their services and to browse Xfinity products, including its mobile phone service and home security platform. Macy’s
The department store chain is among several retailers sharing records of in-store purchases with Facebook. The data match purchases to Facebook users, who then see ads from those companies in their feeds. Small Biz Genius
Madewell
The J.Crew-owned brand plans to open a third Denim Edit boutique, at 124 3rd Ave. N. in Minneapolis’ North Loop. The brand’s other denim specialty shops are in Charlotte, N.C., and Nashville. Star Tribune
Neiman Marcus
The luxury retailer has opened selling studios in four of its stores. Customers can resell items there and then purchase new products from the broader store. The retailer expects the service to attract younger or less affluent shoppers. Ecommerce Bytes

JLL is representing the “dessert tapas” concept in its quest for 600- to 1,500 square-foot locations, including spaces at hotels, stadiums and other nontraditional venues. New York Post
Walmart
The Bentonville, Ark.-based retailer has rolled out “SWAT teams,” small remodeling teams who tackle remodeling and renovation jobs from store to store in big markets like Atlanta and Dallas. The number of members will rise from 1,000 to 1,700 by the end of next year as the progrm expands to 13 new markets. Bloomberg
