Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explaining our information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. All capitalized terms not defined in this Policy shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Terms of Service for use of the Website/App.

This Policy describes the types of personal data (defined below) that we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit our Website (https://www.icsc.com)/App, including if you email us or send us other electronic messages, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services, even if our Website or App links to them or vice versa. You should review the privacy notices of those third parties to understand their practices regarding your personal data. ICSC is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those other websites.
Please read this Policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. This Policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy) so please check the Policy periodically for updates. If there are any material changes to this Policy, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Children Under the Age of 16. Our Website/App is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you are under the age of 16, do not use or provide any information on our Website/App, including providing any information about yourself to us. If we learn we have collected or received personal data from a child under the age of 16 without parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we have any information from a child under the age of 16, please contact us (see How to Contact Us below).
We collect information about you in many ways and some of the information we collect may include personal data. As used in this Policy, “personal data” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an identifiable individual. Personal data includes “personal information” as that term is defined in applicable privacy laws that can be used to identify you. Personal data does not include publicly available information from government records or deidentified or aggregated consumer information.
Information Collected From You. We collect personal data that you provide to us when applying to become a member, registering for an event, or requesting information from us. This information may include your name, address, e-mail address, corporate affiliation or other biographical information that you may provide to us when you complete your membership or event registration profile, photograph, telephone number, fax number, credit card information, any special accommodations (dietary, religious, health/disability) and other personal data provided to us by you when registering for an event or to be considered by us when providing our services, and may also include information about your interests in and use of various products, programs, and services.
If you contact us, we may collect records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses). You may also provide information to be published or displayed on public areas of the Website/App or transmitted to other members or entities (“Contributions”) and such Contributions, which may include your property listing information, your corporate affiliation, your resume and other employment information if you use our Talent HQ platform to find a job, are done at your own risk as we cannot control the actions of other users of the Website with whom you may choose to share Contributions.
The Website/App also allows you to submit information about other people. For example, you might submit a person's mailing and e-mail address to enroll them in an ICSC event, or if you order publications online and want them sent directly to the recipient, you might submit the recipient's name and address. ICSC expects that you have received the appropriate consent, according to applicable privacy laws, before transferring any personal data to us. In addition, when ICSC members forward ICSC event invitations to third parties, we may collect certain personal data from those third parties, such as their email address.
Information We Collect Automatically. As you navigate through and interact with our Website/ App, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about you. For example, if you use our App, location information may be collected, which may be used to provide directions for how to get to certain locations during our events. Additionally, we use cookies (a tiny file stored on your computer’s browser) to tell us about your device, browsing actions, and patterns including details of your visits to our Website/App, whether you have or have not opened an email from us, and information about your device and internet connection, including your IP address or device identifier, operating system, and browser type. Information Collected From Our Service Providers. We may also collect personal data via our service providers, including those providing hosting, analytics, cloud services, customer and technical support, email services, and other services. For example, we may collect personal data if you use the chatbot on our Website, which is provided by our third-party service provider TurnoutNow.
Information Collected From Other Third Parties. We may collect information from third parties that we may use to market our product and services to you, including business and marketing partners, ad network providers, and advertisers. Some content or applications, including advertisements, on our Website/App are served by third parties, including advertisers, content providers, your mobile device manufacturer/ mobile service provider, and application providers. These third parties may use tracking technologies, including cookies, alone or in conjunction with other tracking technologies, to collect information about you when you use our Website/App. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies and analytics services to track activity on and gauge the effectiveness of our Website/App. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include unique identifiers. ICSC members and non-members who have access to personal data of members and other individuals through the use of the Website/App are also required to protect this information in a manner that is consistent with this Policy, and are required to use such information strictly for business related purposes.
We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect online.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website/App, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personal data that we collect will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Policy or as otherwise permitted by law. Please see section 5 of the Terms of Service.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes consistent with applicable law. We will post the updated policy on our Website/App so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and the circumstances, if any, on how we disclose it. The date this Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring that we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you.
